Pair of Large Meiji Period Imari VasesA good pair of large porcelain vases of baluster form, each typically decorated in underglaze blue, overglaze iron red and gilt with shaped panels of chrysanthemum, blossoming cherry trees and birds reserved on a brocade and floral ground. Japanese, Meiji Period (1868 1912) Excellent antique condition, no cracks, no chips, no structural damage or repairs. Height: 16. 5 in 42 cm Diameter: 8. 5 in 21 cm
