Description
Temuka Pottery Water JugA square form ceramic water jug in a smooth cream glaze, made by Temuka Potteries. The handle side is worked with a raised Art Nouveau scroll of acanthus leaves and a braided motif curling around the loop handle. Designed in 1945 under Temuka manager Thomas Lovatt. The same water jug is held in the Puke Ariki museum collection. Condition: Excellent condition. Dimensions: 15 cm high x 9 cm wide x 9 cm deep
