Hand painted gilt scrollwork in a dense meandering pattern covers both pieces, finished with banded gold rims and a gilded handle on the jug. Made by James Sadler & Sons of Staffordshire, England, marked to the base with the Sadler banner and crown. Condition: Heavy rubbing to the gold on the jug handle, see photos. Otherwise excellent condition. Dimensions: Bowl 10. 5 cm diameter x 6. 5 cm
