Orvis Battenkill 8 1/2' 7-8wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is an impregnated Orvis Battenkill 8 1 2' 3 2 7 8wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 14023. Made in February 1953 by George Reid and Cal Skinner and remaining in excellent overall condition. Chestnut brown wraps over medium dark tempered cane. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. Cigar style grip 7" in length with only mild soiling. There are a few small dents in the cork likely from the guides during storage. He fly fished mainly in Ontario and later in BC and the Northwest of the U

This rod also appears to have been originally sold with two tips and two-mids since the bag (original) has all five sections
