Orvis CFO III Limited Edition Reel 2012For sale here is a Hardy made Limited Edition Orvis CFO III Reel. One of 220 made. This reel is #122. Near mint condition. Hardy's made this run of reels supposedly on machines that utilized the tooling of the original 1971 1972 reels. Included is the reel, original box, shearling lined pouch and paperwork.
Some of the guides are new with a few slightly used
Moderately tempered cane with chestnut wraps and gold tipping
having passed away in December of 2016
This is the 3/4 model
Dark stain figured maple(
The serial # looks like a 1976 manufacture date
Light flame cane
Includes the original bag and tube with brass fittings and label as well as a canvas tube cover
an honour which has been granted by successive generations of royalty to the present day
The snake guides appear to be black stainless steel
especially in LHW
Though not quite as dark as the Hunts usually are
