Hardy Perfect 3 5/8" 1912 fly reel w/ "D" stamp!For sale here is a very scarce Walter Dingley made Hardy Perfect with the highly coveted 1912 check. 3 5 8" diameter. Made circa 1911. The smooth brass reel foot is full length and unmolested. Ivory handle spins freely. Strap over tensioner works perfectly. This "D" stamped Hardy Perfect is featured in the Dingley book on pages 91 92. Indeed a rare find!

Though marked as a 9wt
Comes with an Orvis reel case
Set up for right-hand wind but can be switched to left
The reel weighs 9 1/8 oz
Made in 1974 when Bob was using resorcinol glue

You can see these in the photos if you look hard enough -- they aren't in need of repair in my opinion
The spool on this reel is visually appealing as you can see the leading on the reel is well worn except for this recessed portion of the spool
