Orvis CFO III Fly Reel - screwbackFor sale here is an early 70's Orvis CFO III fly reel the screwback model with three holes in the reel foot. This reel has definitely seen much time on the stream. Mechanically it feels as solid as the day it left the factory. Nice fishing reel and a rarely seen early model.
Has an ultra weight-forward #9 floating line on it with backing
Oxidized guides and bright nickel silver ferrules
For sale here is a South Creek bamboo rod in excellent condition
and the original packaging and box
Tool-less conversion from left to right hand wind
The rod features beautiful darkly tempered cane often seen on Orvis rods from this era
the hard rubber side plates are in very good condition with one scratch and no cracks
and ephemera come from the collection of Craig Lynch
as it won't last long
Best suited for a 7 weight line
