Vintage Black and White Ceramic Elephants PairA beautiful pair of 1980s Chinese ceramic elephant porch stands, each finished in a deep black glaze with intricate incised scroll and fret decoration picked out in cream. Their backs are fitted with a tiered square platform that serves as a pot plant surface. Decorative detailing covers the caparison, collar, and tassels, with white toenails and tusk tips providing a clean contrast to the dark ground. A Chinese character panel is visible on the top.
