The Salmon Fly by George Kelson (Flyfisher's Classic Library)One of the classic texts on salmon flies, this copy part of the limited run published as the Flyfishers Classic Library. 510 pages and bound in black alligator leather, with gilt titles and decoration. It has a number of nice colored plates in it depicting patterns. A must have text for any serious salmon tyer. Excellent condition with only a few tiny scuffs to the slipcase.

The seat is an almost exact match to the reel seats used on the original pre-fire Hunt rods

however the bag is original

The reverse is labelled "Hunt 40-6"

This is a fine example of a Payne in original condition

the smallest in Bob McChristian's Mark series

Going over it carefully I was stunned at the phenomenal condition this rod is in

Both reel and spool come in the standard blue hardy cases

as well as with a red velvet drawstring bag and original box (including warrantee card which states that the original purchase was 3/21/06)
