RK Bolt Fly Rod 7'6" 3/2 #4A superb Robert K. Bolt fly rod, 7'6", 3 piece, 2 tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #1808. Mint condition. Medium action, my favorite of all Bob's rod actions. There are a lot of neat, well crafted details throughout this rod, made possible by the fact that Bob makes all the parts himself. For instance, we have a neat little stamp on the screw lock barrel depicting the hollow built butt section. Another touch is the stamp on the screw lock nut "R. K.

This rod also comes with papers of provenance which detail it having been acquired in 1927 for the former owner

This appears to be an early version of Joe' well-regarded deluxe line of reels

This is a fast but full flexing action
