Orvis Battenkill 7'6 2/2 5wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is an impregnated Orvis "Battenkill" 7'6" 2 2 5wt bamboo rod with a listed weight of 3 7 8 oz. Serial #73719. Made in 1974. The rod is in excellent original+ original condition with one exception. A guide on one of the tip sections has been replaced, repair work masterfully performed by Mike Clark at South Creek Ltd. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features moderately dark impregnated cane. Chestnut brown wraps as per

This is an exquisite work from the late Maine maker who made only a very small number of reels
