An even more elegant nose of spicy and floral red and black pinot fruit is nuanced by subtle traces of sandalwood

I tend to like more fruit rather than the oxidized and aged characteristics of the very old tawnys

with air it could actually be enjoyed though one thing that is crystal clear is that this is very much on the rise

This is a more Rhône-ish style

although it certainly seems a step behind the biggest winners in the mini-vertical

This is bigger and more concentrated than the regular cuvée with exceptionally good richness on the naturally sweet medium full-bodied flavors that are utterly seductive

The tannins are fine and nicely integrated to give the wine power

firm and lingering finish
