Paul French built most of his rods (not many) in the 90's and at that time was a student of Darryl Whitehead. He built very exquisite rods and those fortunate enough to own one tend to hold on to them. This one is still original, full length and in excellent condition. Medium to medium fast parabolic action. Darkly flamed cane and a very handsome spiraled node pattern. Beautiful burled

Made for a 3-4 wt line

3/2 for a six weight line

The first is simply that I didn't make many of these: the "Fishing Creek" model was intended to have duplicate tips which were not mirrored (node spacing)
