R.L. Winston Bamboo Rod SF-Era 9' 2/1 #9For sale here is a classic R. L. Winston bamboo fly rod 9' marked 5 1 4 oz. Serial no. 9934 from the very early 1970s. Made in San Francisco by Doug Merrick. Designed for a nine weight line. This is a one owner rod and remains in excellent original condition. Fully assembled the rod measures 8 feet 10 1 2 inches with the butt section being 1 3 8" shorter than the tip section. The rod features beige wraps (NCP) and burgundy tipping at the winding
Flick's death and has not been fished
