Bob Summers Midge Fly Rod 6'4" 2/2 #3/4A very nice Bob Summer Midge model fly rod, 6'4", 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #3 or #4 line. Serial #121583. Weighs 2. 3 ounces. Medium action rod. Near mint condition. Flamed cane in the Young style and the varnish is superb. Light brown wraps with a carbide stripper. Oxidized step ferrules, which are nice and clean with no brassing to the oxidation. The grip is 5 3 4" long in a blunt cigar shape. The rod shaft is lettered "R. W. Summers Co, 6'4"

The rod has beautifully flamed and honey-colored blanks with chestnut brown silks and gold tipping

but it does show fishing use

All internal parts are anodized or stainless steel to prevent corrosion

Comes with original drawstring reel pouch and warranty card

Capacity is approximately WF9+300yds 30#

Rod weighs 4 3/4 oz
