HL Leonard Model 39 Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5For sale here is a HL Leonard Model 39 bamboo rod. 7'6 2 2 for a 5 weight line. The rod weighs 3. 45 oz. and is in excellent condition with with original bag and labeled tube. All sections are full length and straight. Down locking aluminum reel seat. Red wraps with green edges at winding check and male ferrules. The ferrules are 12 64 and the ferrule fit is excellent.

The rod appears to be mostly in original condition with one exception

"504" and "2-0" are stamped into the bar attached to the reel foot

The seat is in wonderful condition save a bit of wear around the rim of the butt cap

This 9'10" rod (without 5" fighting butt) would be an excellent one to fish with from a canoe

For sale here is a Chris Raine Model "90-DF" hollow-built bamboo rod -- 7 1/2' 2/2 5wt

A nice little Hardy Featherweight fly reel here with two extra spools

and made two false casts before shooting the entire thing all the way to the backing
