Forbes, J. Austin - Avon Reel 3"For sale here is a J. Austin Forbes "Avon" 5730 model fly reel. 3" diameter. Bronze silver. Made for 3 5 weight lines. Weighs 3. 4 oz. Palmable spool flange. Like new condition with original box. Never lined. Left or right hand retrieve. A very nicely made click pawl reel in the classic style!

The fighting butt is 5" in length and remains in excellent condition
For sale here is a Hardy JLH Ultralite 8/9 fly reel and spare spool
The cork grip has been cleaned and exhibits very slight ridging
including a dished headplate with the Leonard Mills stamp legible and near the reel foot as opposed to near the stripping pillar
