First blooms for this cross came in early 2025. The plant looks like a reed stem epidendrum but with very fleshy, almost succulent leaves. Growing conditions: intermediate warm temps, bright indirect light, regular watering, and light feeding throughout the growing season (spring fall) with a slightly dry rest

This is a large-leafed (16"+) bulbophyllum that stays very compact for its size

We took the relatively small and amazingly fragrant (this is the "coconut cream pie orchid") Maxillaria tenuifolia and crossed it with the Maxillaria species that has some of the coolest looking flowers

The reverse hybrid is registered as Stanhopea Nina Rach but I could find no images of it
