Baginski, Rolf - "Horizon" Bamboo Rod 6' 2/2 4-5wtFor sale here is a bamboo rod made by Rolf Baginski of Germany his "Horizon" model 6 feet, 2 2 made for a four or five weight line. Blonde cane, serial #1355. Tapered cigar grip. Reel seat is German silver Argentine slide band over a stunning amboyna wood spacer. The guide wraps are clear with fine black edging at the ferrules and stripping guide and one black wrap in the middle of each guide wrap. Bright fittings throughout. The rod is in mint

The rod includes a replacement bag and tube as well as custom hand-turned wood/cork ferrule plugs

11'6" 3-piece 2-tip rod listed for a "F2AE" line (which

no scuffs are left) and have also provided a ferrule plug for the rod

The spools have a vinyl washer between them for smooth operation

These rods were hexagonal like a cane rod but were made with triangular strips of foam backed by graphite

Smooth brass foot is unaltered and measures 2 1/2"

The rod features beautiful moderately tempered cane with rich mahogany brown wraps and black tipping

6" in length was retained and remains in wonderful condition with only the faintest bit of ridging towards the top

The rod is actually marked as a 7-8wt rod though I consider it a 6-7 weight
