Hardy Perfect 2 7/8" Fly Reel 1950sFor sale here is a Hardy Perfect 2 7 8" trout fly reel from the 1950s with agate line guide, full length ribbed brass foot, ebonite handle and rim tensioner. Straight line writing on the faceplate. Duplicated MKII check. A nice reel mechanically with some exterior finish wear, but no cracks. The dark agate line guide insert however does have a few cracks but can be replaced of course, or fished as is.

Moderately flame tempered cane with bronze wraps and Chinese red tipping

Purple and red tipping at the winding check and male ferrules

this rod comes to me from a friend who suffered severe losses during the recent flooding in Vermont
