Simply another amazing piece of work by Dr. Hermann. If you ever have a chance to own one of these reels, you are very lucky. Dr. Hermann only made a little over 200 of these salmon models, a little over 100 Baby Hermanns, ~20 Large Trout Models and much fewer of the remaining two models, the Dry Fly Salmon and the Sea Trout. Petite 4" cigar grip appears to have been cleaned and is slightly ridged
This rod shows what I would call well cared for use
The ferrule fit is good and the rod is nice and straight
Rated HDH for a DT6 line but could handle a 5 as well

There are a few light scratches in the butt cap
