This is the limited edition rod (limited to 15) that inspired the name of our company
While visiting a friend's house in the late 1990's I was given a copy of "The Wedding Gift" for bedtime reading
The rod features moderately dark impregnated cane
Overall a very nice fisher in excellent condition
The foot is also gold anodized
Fabulous workmanship here and a drag that would stop a charging elephant
Rod bag and brown crackle finish tube with machined collar and cap
Tiger maple reel seat
Western or fishtail-style 5 1/2" grip with light soiling
The spar varnish is in good condition but shows scratches and scuffs and a few hook nicks but nothing through to the bamboo
The varnish is original and showing some signs of age
put out as part of the Flyfisher's Classic Library in 2000
