Serial #8111 which indicates an early 1981 manufacture date near the end of the Maxwell period at Leonard. Medium fast action (I loved the feel of this one when I put it together, it has that "Ooooh, I'd love to fish this" kind of feel). Flamed cane in 3 up node pattern, dark garnet wraps (it's actually a light purple color before varnish) and a maroon edge at the keeper
