Hardy St. George Multiplier 3 3/8" Fly ReelFor sale here is a scarce Hardy St. George Multiplier 3 3 8" fly reel with three screw latch from the 1927 1939. "DW" on inner frame for Deny Ward, Hardy reel maker. Excellent original condition throughout. Ribbed brass foot is full length and has not been filed. The reel is nice and tight mechanically. Stunning dark brown agate line guide is unblemished. Ebonite handle spins freely. Tension regulator works as intended. Nice strong check throughout

The tube is also packed in a fine heavy canvas bag with a sleeve for the butt extensions

matching wraps with oxblood tipping at the winding check

as well as the ability to turn over larger flies

Reverse half-wells grip 6 1/2" in length with mild soiling

The reel is in near mint condition with only the slightest of handling marks

You can see these in the photos if you look hard enough -- they aren't in need of repair in my opinion

but not overly objectionable while winding the reel

This excellent+ condition reel is RHW and comes with a nice and strong check with spare spring/pawl from the 1930's
