Thomas and Thomas "Classic" fly reelFor sale here is a scarce reel made for the Thomas and Thomas Rod Company in the late 1970's by the Hart reel company of Long Island, NY, makers of the Marquessa and Umpqua fly reels. Aluminum rings and delrin plates. Right hand retrieve. Cosmetically the reel is in near mint condition. The drag is adequately strong as is but adjusting the lever on the backplate does not result in a stronger drag. The reel comes with its original leather T&T reel

These rods are not often seen and especially not in this fine condition

Cigar grip 5 1/4" in length

Some of the stamp has worn thin with time

This coupled with the thin supple tips makes for a very versatile rod
