1974 Greco Japan S-50 ES-175 Hollowbody Jazzbox (Brown Sunburst)

1974 Greco Japan S-50 ES-175 Hollowbody Jazzbox (Brown Sunburst)Made in Japan in 1974, the Greco S 50 was their Gibson ES 175 replica. Fully hollowbody construction with a 85mm deep body set to a slim 60's profile neck and a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut width, 628mm scale length), it weighs 3kg's. Loaded with a pair of Maxon humbuckers controlled by the original pots and wiring, this one appears to be factory original with a trap eze style tailpiece and a tune o matic bridge mounted on a rosewood base.

Some of the clear coat on the back has peeled off along the walnut

this "Limited Edition '88" is one of only 500 ever produced

there's some cosmetic bumps and bruises but no breaks or repairs

these were also factory loaded with two Jackson USA single coils and a Maxon DRY humbucker controlled by individual three-way mini toggles

independent volume controls and a master tone knob

Sunburst finish on a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (39m nut width)

Using optical sensors also opens doors to some new effects types

it's got 5 vintage Aria tuners and one Greco Deluxe branded tuner along with the original bridge/tailpiece and a new nut

the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the truss adjusts freely
