1984 Greco Japan GTX-55 "Tusk" Explorer (Ferrari Red)I genuinely mean this (as the owner of a guitar shop and collector of oddball Japanese guitars), the Greco Tusk models are my favourite series of guitars from the 1980's. Designed around Greco's "Sky Diver" tremolo system, it's essentially a headless compact Explorer Destroyer that still has an obsolete pointy headstock. Designed to appeal to both New Wave and Metal fans, this GTX 55 wears a Ferrari Red finish and is loaded with a pair of "Dry"

responsive midrange of layered sapele

Appears all original except for one replacement knob and is in good overall condition with light wear from general use

these humbuckers offer excellent no-hum performance and feature classic Alnico V magnets

rock maple neck-through construction with a 24 fret unbound rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length)

Loaded with a brand new output jack and aftermarket Dimarzio Virtual Solo single coils in the bridge/neck and a HS-3 in the middle position

the frets are clean and smooth and the truss works perfectly with a straight neck

Grandy guitars were made by the Tokai factory in the mid 1980's and are shrouded by mystery
