When I moved to Leicester I was told that in the 1930s Leicester was the 3rd richest city in Europe and this is celebrated by the wealth of beautiful buildings of that period
it was the largest shoe factory in the world - I love facts like that about my home city

The originals are tiny black and white engravings and this Series attempts some sort of homage to the picture I had built up of her in my head
