1985 Fender Japan "Jazz Bass Special" Duff McKagen Bass (Aged White)Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1985 as part of Fender's critically acclaimed "E Series", this Jazz Bass Special design was made famous by Duff McKagen. Basswood Precision style body with a Jazz profile maple neck and 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (34" scale length), weighs 3. 8kg's. Loaded with Fender Japan passive PJ pickups with volume and tone controls and a three way selector, it's a simple bass capable of a full range of tones. Well loved

The set neck is made of mahogany and features an eco-rosewood fretboard

It's got one replacement knob and what looks to be a replacement pickguard but still has the original bridge

a significant improvement on some of the newer budget baritone models on the market

This one has been modified from it's original setup and now features a Seymour Duncan P-Rail Humbucker with a "spin-a-split" on the tone pot to blend in the second coil
