1984 Greco Japan GTX-55 "Tusk" Explorer (Black)I genuinely mean this (as the owner of a guitar shop and collector of oddball Japanese guitars), the Greco Tusk models are my favourite series of guitars from the 1980's. Designed around Greco's "Sky Diver" tremolo system, it's essentially a headless compact Explorer Destroyer that still has an obsolete pointy headstock. Designed to appeal to both New Wave and Metal fans, this GTX 55 wears a glossy black finish and is loaded with a pair of "Dry"

audio taper potentiometers and orange drop capacitors

The JP20 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1982

straight neck and plenty of life in the shiny frets

push/pull tone control

Loaded with some 90's Fender US-VINTAGE single coil pickups and the original Japanese pots with some custom wiring (including what seems to be two volume knobs and one tone controls)

The brightness has been calibrated to sound best with the tone knob at around noon

Two piece Southern White Ash body with a slim maple neck and 22 fret fingerboard (628mm scale length)
