Wrasse Gyotaku PrintThis was my first time printing wrasse. I could see the details of the fish but struggled to get them to show up. The details show up nicely in this print though. With a multiple print like this one, each fish is printed individually so this is actually 8 individual prints on the same sheet of paper. Each time you make a print there is a risk the fish will leak or you might not align it correctly and then the fish can unintentionally overlap. The

The Aberffraw biscuit is made by pressing biscuit dough into the shell to give it a distinctive shell shape

It's hard sometimes to make people understand exactly what the Gyotaku process involves

I have used premium quality acrylic ink

Every time you take a print you risk smudging or misprinting which could ruin the piece

However they are pretty tricky to deal with

I use a very soft wide goat hair brush and can take all the creases and air bubbles out from the paper so it's completely flat

It has then been professionally framed in a white frame with a 4cm mount

They'd work great in a bathroom or kitchen
