Cherries, warming spices, cranberry and raspberry are layered with black pepper, aniseed, fresh thyme and a flicker of smoke. The palate is soft, silky and supple, opening with a little sweetness before tightening into vibrant acidity and fine, velvety tanninred cherry, dried currants and a hint of mushroom and forest floor.
