Burfoot KikiThis dahlia originated right here at Burfoot Flowers, and was released in 2025! BF Kiki is named after our dear friend over at Little Lupine Farm, who invited us to grow out our seedlings on her property, allowing us to share them with you all. Everyone join me in saying thank you Kiki! BF Kiki is endlessly whimsical Petals twist and dance, radiating out and creating a beautiful starburst. Terracotta and mauve petals frame a bold, dark raspberry
Stems are dark
Soft salmon pink fades to warm yellow and back again
but has performed consistently in different gardens across the Western US
It is a sight to behold
Here in the PNW we usually get a flush of open centers during the height of summer heat
It’s one of my favorite varieties to build bouquets around
Each stem produces 4-6 fully formed 12”+ stems like a candelabra
perfect for bouquets but requiring good support
and always steals the show as fall rolls around
thanks to its balance of beauty and strength
